Buying a vehicle is another errand families park on this star, which is why the muhurtham engine has a separate event for it rather than borrowing the wedding rules.

Savitr, the impeller of the Gayatri, is the deity named in the table. That does not make every Hasta day a day for the Gayatri, and it does not make the Gayatri a Hasta ritual. The two meet in textbooks. They do not collapse into each other.
