The name is the clue. Punar, again, and vasu, the good that dwells. A person who has been away for work, a family reopening a house after plaster and paint, a student coming back to a hostel after a term at home: this is the mansion people look up.

Aditi, mother of the gods in the older hymns, is the deity the jyotisha tables assign. You do not need that theology to use the day. You need the Moon's longitude, the tithi, and a clear idea of what you are starting. A return is not the same event as a first entry, and the muhurtham rules for the two are not copies of each other.

If you only remember one thing, remember that the star names a kind of act. It does not bless every act scheduled by accident on that date.
