Vrishabha, the bull

Vrishabha is the sidereal bull. Venus rules it in the usual scheme. Steadiness is the classroom gloss, and gloss is all it is.

The bull is the second sign. A fixed sign, in the textbook classification, which teachers gloss as patience and possession. Farms, treasuries, and a reluctance to be hurried get stapled to it. Staples are not measurements.

Venus as lord means, on a chart, that the condition of Venus colours this sign's topics when Vrishabha is a lagna or a house. If Venus is in a difficult house, the textbook does not then call the person unloving. It asks you to read the house. Pocket Pandit will show the house and the dignity. The sermon is separate, and optional, and labelled.

Your Sun can be in Vrishabha while your lagna is elsewhere. Say which one you mean. The words are cheap. The hour of birth is not.
